Managing Director of Studio Production: Online Retailer
The Managing Director of Studio Production is responsible for maximizing the commercial success by providing leadership to the team to efficiently deliver the photography, video, styling, editorial and fit information for the 500+ products launched each week.
Responsibilities:
Provide leadership to the Studio Production teams
o Ability to inspire, engage and motivate.
o Proactively develop team and individual performance.
Determine and clearly communicate the vision, strategy and objectives of the team.
Recruit and retain high quality employees
Continuously enhance the production output to maximise customer experience and sales.
Manage the upload process in our New York office to allow faster launch of US products while maintaining the style and quality guidelines.
Bring the production of customer facing sizing information and internal fit information into the Studio Production team process.
Work with other departments and directors in regard to
o Visual merchandising authority
o Editorial authority
o Planning sample management and future upload requirements
Operational Management
Deliver operational and scale efficiencies while also focusing on quality.
Act as primary liaison between the Studio Production team and other departments.
Plan, communicate and continuously monitor upload targets on a day to day and weekly basis.
Provide long term planning of resources for seasonal peaks and long term business growth.
Manage budgets and provide overall management of Studio Production facilities and equipment.
Manage third party and freelance resource requirements as required.

Proven experience managing and leading teams of both creative and operational staff
Solid experience delivering both operational efficiency and quality.
