This is a unique opportunity for a dynamic and strategically minded finance professional to join one of the world's most recognized CPG organizations in a key leadership role.
Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, you will be responsible for strategically influencing the Sales Leadership Team on business evaluation and resource allocation decisions.
You will lead integrated financial planning and analytics, acting as a strategic business partner within the Commercial Leadership Team.
As a member of the Sales Leadership Team, you will:
* Serve as key business partner and strategic advisor and provide insight into the key drivers of the business
* Challenge business decisions through holistic assessment of impact on the business model
* Focus on driving Margin improvement and healthy volume developments
* Lead the National Pricing & Value Chain Director, who develops company-wide Pricing Strategy, develops and implements pricing tools and processes, and ensures central oversight of price management.
As a member of the Commercial Leadership Team you will:
* Provide insight in the key business drivers and the financial implications of commercial strategies
* Direct and orchestrate an integrated planning and latest estimate process with the Sales organization
* Integrate an ROI and Zero Based Budgeting philosophy to planning to ensure resources are allocated to the most important initiatives and ineffective spend identified and eliminated
* Partner with Brand Finance and Corporate Reporting to develop, manage and drive the annual operational planning process for the commercial and corporate organization
* Oversee the design and implementation of a planning infrastructure within Sales that supports total company reporting needs (e.g. DMA/Brand/Channel/Initiative reporting)
* Ensure Sales financial performance metrics align in both timing and content with MT priorities
* Responsible for total company Trade Promotion budget, analysis and forecast
* Oversee evaluation of trade promotional spend and actively influence the redeployment of funds to maximize return on investment
* Review pricing analysis provided by Regions to ensure proper strategy alignment and margin guidelines, and ensure correction are implemented when needed
* Manage, lead and motivate a team
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Ideally you will be MBA and/or CPA qualified with a minimum of 8 years experience working within a dynamic global CPG environment.
Additionally, you will possess:
* The ability to lead, mentor and develop a team
* A high level of commercial and financial acumen
* Familiarity with external sources of data (IRI, AC Nielsen)
* The ability to communicate and influence key stakeholders across the Group
* A good working knowledge of SAP, COGNOS and TM1
