Due to an internal promotion, a unique opportunity exists for a highly commercial finance professional to head up the Finance & Operations for the US business unit.
Working with the EVP of North America, with a functional report to the Group CFO in Europe you will be responsible for managing the Finance, Logistics and Customer Service functions for the US business. Responsibilities include:
- Manage the budgeting, forecasting and monthly management reports
- Establish controls & models relating to pricing, costs and order book
- Produce in-depth commercial analysis
- Present monthly US board pack to European parent company
- Effectively manage operations to develop in-line with the growth of the business
- Support VP Sales & sales group
- Drive process improvement
- Undertake ad hoc project work
The ideal candidate will be CPA and/or MBA qualified with 8+ years of highly commercial experience within a global wholesale/retail or Consumer Products business. Additionally he or she must:
- Be passionate, dynamic and driven
- Possess a high level of commercial acumen
- Understand how a business functions operationally from margins and profitability through to logistics and customer service
- Possess the ability to work cross functionally and provide commercial value to various operating units
- Have strong communications skills and aptitude to influence people at all levels of the business
