Our client is a global specialist in billing and customer care solutions for the Utilities and Telecommunications sectors.
Due to exponential growth within the company, a unique opportunity exists for a dynamic and motivated leader to manage all North American accounts and identify new business opportunities.
Reporting to the North American President, the successful candidate will be accountable for the following responsibilities:
• To build and maintain strong relationships at all levels and ensure that a high level of client service & satisfaction is achieved
• To be the single point of contact for the customer for commercial & operational activities:-
• Management and direction of Service/Operation and Project teams
• To provide operational support for project teams
• Project and Service/Operation quality governance
• To manage the activities of the onsite team & resources
• To maximize sales revenue and deliver profitable growth by promoting the capabilities of Hansen’s products and services
• To identify new business opportunities within the client and manage the contracting of new business
• Strategic account planning including management of P&L for all assigned accounts
• Ensuring all project & services revenues are invoiced on time and in accordance with the contract
• Articulating the value & benefits of service offerings to ensure the client fully appreciated the products & services Hansen provides
• Work closely with Delivery Managers to successfully manage client release management schedules
• To ensure change management procedures are followed & enforced
• To coordinate the estimation process for all client changes & quotations
• To chair client governance meetings and service reviews
• To produce regular internal reporting on the status and activity for each assigned account
• To work with the European Director to produce workload forecasts
• To conduct staff appraisals for assigned resources
• To support the exec team during any significant commercial negotiations and facilitate this process as appropriate
The Successful Candidate Will Possess the Following:
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to communicate, arbitrate and inspire direction
• 5+ years of experience as an account manager working in a software/service business
• Attitude to learn and understand product functionality and telecoms/utilities sectors
• Be willing to ‘get hands dirty’ from time to time and not afraid to challenge the status quo
• Ability to communicate well to all levels of management and staff both internally and externally
• Ideally previous experience in delivering software solutions in a Telecoms/Utility environment
• Must possess positive, proactive attitude
• Must be flexible on travel and working location
