My client, a family office investment manager, are looking to hire someone to support the founder of the family office with a number of corporate and administrative tasks. The opportunity offers high exposure to the firm, the founder and across a number of corporate responsibilities.
The firm are looking for a candidate that can assist with;
Planning - Investments, tax and next generation estate planning
Accounting/bookkeeping - paying bills, managing finances, obligations, tax prep work for accountants, tracking charitable donations, real estate taxes, insurance reimbursements, organize K1s, S-corps
Total oversight and organization of the personal balance sheets.
Be the lead person on estate planning including liaising with outside attorneys and a tax attorney who can prepare in advance of a windfall event
Various other ad hoc and administrative tasks
Background and required skills
Must have minimum of a bachelors degree in Tax
- Must have 1-3 years experience working within a family office / family office environment
- Prior experience working with individual tax, estate, charitable, family office and structuring issues
- Prior focus on managing the founder individual tax
- anyone with a tax / legal background would be desireable
