A turnkey position has just arisen for an experienced Director of Operations to join a global leader in the production of Alcoholic Beverages who are ramping up to launch in the US Market. With established networks across much of Europe the company produce a broad range of premium wines, spirits and alcoholic beverages. Looking to leverage these existing networks and build on the success they will be launching into the market and have recently secured a US site to begin production. Joining right at the start of their US launch the Director of Operations will lead multiple work streams, from distillery construction, through to supply chain establishment, sourcing of raw materials as well as developing vendor relations. Reporting directly to the founding team you will articulate the overall US Operations strategy and will quickly develop into a Chief Operations Officer position. In tandem to overseeing construction and production the developing COO will oversee the hiring of Commercial and Technical team members in conjunction with agency partner. The successful person will relish the opportunity to work in a lean start- up organization. As the perfect candidate for this role you demonstrate experience within the Beverages or Food industry and be suited to working in a lean, growing organization where initiative and proactivity is key.
